Campus and Resources
Red Cedar is located in an agricultural valley just north of the village of Bristol, along the Hogback Mountain ridge.
The school is based in a large house that includes classrooms and common areas, and has open views to the surrounding landscape.
Resources include a library, science lab, kitchen, potters wheels and kiln, computers and Wi-Fi internet access.
The two-acre campus includes playing fields, play structures, gardens, apple orchard, greenhouse, cob oven, small barn, sledding hill and winter ice rink.
The campus is bordered by open farmland and forest, and is within easy access of natural wilderness and cultural resources.
The school draws students throughout Addison County, as well as from Chittenden and Washington counties. The school offers a bus service to Chittenden County and northern Addison County.
